Lest we forget to open a training course on loss

Lest We Forget Association opened a training course on dealing with missing persons at the association's headquarters in Jenin camp, targeting the teaching staff, psychological support staff and the administrative staff.

Farha Abu Al-Haijaa, head of the association, said that the course comes within the psychological and social support project funded by the Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Committee for a Just Peace in the Middle East. And children in light of the repeated Israeli incursions and cases of martyrdom, which affect the psychological state.

Psychologist Samah Sadaqah indicated that the course includes topics related to loss, how to deal with it, and mitigation mechanisms that help accept the case of loss, noting the importance of the crews working with these cases gaining sufficient experience and the ability to provide assistance.
