Lest We Forget The Opening Of Her First Summer Camp

Under the title of Nissan Children, Lest We Forget Association organized its first summer camp, which targeted a number of children in Jenin camp, in Nissan Park.

Farha Abu Al-Heija, head of the association, said that this camp is part of a series of summer camps targeting children in Jenin camp, as these camps aim to raise children's awareness of the reality of the camp, refugees and the Palestinian cause.

These camps also focus on implementing recreational, recreational and unloading activities, especially that children have suffered and are still suffering from the occupation practices that recently targeted Jenin camp, which left psychological consequences for the children. Therefore, it was necessary to work to provide an opportunity to mitigate the effects of these practices and help in Changing the general atmosphere in children.

Mostham Abu Salama, the camps coordinator, mentioned, where she pointed to the importance of organizing these summer camps, which are a real outlet for children. It was noticed that the parents were very keen on integrating children into the psychological and social support program implemented by the association with the support of the Luxembourgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Just Peace Committee in the Middle East, emphasizing On the importance of the programs and activities implemented during the camps, which help raise the level of children's awareness of their political rights and the importance of providing safe spaces to be able to live in peace.
