The Association, “Let us not forget,” organized a series of events and activities that targeted children in Jenin camp, as part of the National Awareness Program carried out by the Association, emphasizing that adults die and young
people will not be forgotten.
Farkha Abu Al-Haijaa, head of the association, stated that the aim of these activities is to raise children's awareness of their political rights, especially the right of return, pointing out the necessity of educating and educating young people so that they have the ability to defend their rights as refugees.
Haifa Amer, a member of the board of directors, stated that the association, since its inception, has taken it upon itself to work with children in all fields, pointing out that the activities included seminars during which they talked about the cities, villages and towns from which the Palestinians were displaced, as well as the daily life that the Palestinians lived in Before their displacement, focusing on the Nakba, which has passed for 74 years, and the Palestinians are still displaced, living in camps, and dreaming of returning.
While the activities included patriotic songs and dances bearing meanings related to displacement, the children presented an explanation of the villages, towns and cities from which their families were displaced.
And then a march started in front of the association carrying Palestinian flags and banners bearing national slogans.
