The People's Committee for Jenin Camp Services and the Fatah Movement organized a stand in solidarity with the prisoner Iyad Nazir Arsan, who is languishing in the occupied West Bank, who is battling death as a result of a brain tumor and medical neglect by the occupation. The vigil was attended by the Governor of Jenin Governorate, Major General Akram Rajoub, the Chairman of the People’s Committee, Major General Muhammad al-Sabbagh, a number of members, the commander of the Jenin area, Brigadier Muhammad al-Araj, the Secretary of the Fatah movement in the camp, Jihad Abu al-Kamil, the Fatah Youth, the security services, personalities, activists, local community institutions and the children of Jenin camp. The participants in the vigil affirmed that they will not forget the male and female prisoners who are in the prisons of the occupation, especially those who suffer from chronic diseases, Iyad Arsan and Nasser Abu Hamid. It is noteworthy that a mass march started from Jenin camp to the square of the martyr Yasser Arafat (Abu Ammar) opposite Jenin governorate. The head of the People's Committee, Major General Muhammad al-Sabbagh, said in his speech during the vigil: "Our people will remain united towards the issue of prisoners, and we will remain loyal and in solidarity with the male and female prisoners who are languishing in the prisons of occupation." While Major General Akram Rajoub spoke that our people, in their struggle, steadfastness and challenges against the Israeli occupation, constitute a map of freedom, pointing to support for the prisoners' cause until freedom is achieved. Aseel Al-Absi delivered a message from the prisoner, Iyad Arsan, stressing that our people will not fail him.
