Not to Forget Opens A Children Camp For Peace

The association " not to forget " opened the second summer camp namely " children for peace " at the park " Alwadi Al-Akhdar " in Jenin which included 120 children from Jenin camp between the ages of 8 - 11 years old The president of the association Farha Abu Al Haija mentioned that the summer camp aimed to reduce the stress that children suffer as a result of the difficult circumstances, to teatch them some skills that would improve their communication with others. Abu Al Haija also said that the middle east fair peace committee is the financer of the camp which will last for a week, including some sports, learning, and psychological activities. Farha also confirmed the necessity of working hard to give the Palestanian children a chance to live and grow in peace like other children in the world Musiham Salamah , the coordinator of the summer camp, confirmed the need to organize such camps in order to help children spending useful times and have some fun. There will be a time also for kids who have problematic behaviour and psychological understanding. The activities that are carried out in the camp are considered a part of thep psychological support for children project
