A workshop was held, bringing together members of committees in Palestinian refugee camps as part of a project initiated by the "Not to Forget" Association and supported by the Mediterranean Foundation. The primary purpose of this workshop was to discuss the initial draft of the document outlining the roles of women in the popular committees, in collaboration with the Department of Refugee Affairs.
Mrs. Nasreen Shamekh, the Northern Coordinator of the Popular Committees, emphasized the significance of this step taken by the "Not to Forget" Association. It aims to enhance and strengthen the roles of women within the popular committees.
The meeting was attended by 22 community activists and members of popular committees from 10 Palestinian refugee camps in the West Bank.
