Capacity-building for committee members and active women
This activity is part of the "Refugee Women's Voices" project, funded by the African Women's Development Fund.The training lasted for 30 training hours over six days and covered five main topics:
Palestinian Women's Rights, specifically the rights of refugee women.
Gender equality concepts, roles, and needs.
Gender-based violence.
The National Transfer System and the Protocol of the National Transfer System used by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA).
The concept of community initiatives aimed at promoting the roles of women in the camps.
As a result of this training, ten community initiatives will be implemented in the first year of the project and ten more in the second year, with the aim of enhancing the roles of women and their access to decision-making centers.
