Conclusion of the course "Mental Health and its Importance in Emergency Situations".The association "Not To Forget" and Doctors Without Borders have conducted a training course titled "Mental Health and its Importance in Emergency Situations" at the premises of "Not To Forget" association in Jenin camp, targeting the psychological support and teaching staff of the association.
Farah Abu Al-Hijaa, the president of the association, mentioned that this training is part of raising awareness among women to deal with the emergency situation experienced by Jenin camp. She emphasized the importance of equipping the staff with skills and capabilities that enhance their abilities to cope with the level of violence directed against women and children in Jenin camp.
Abu Al-Hijaa also mentioned that the association is in the process of expanding the scope of training to include a larger number of women and youth due to the difficult and complex reality, negative outcomes, and their significant impact on mental health, necessitating more volunteers who can work in the field.
