The association’s Programs Director, Samah Abu Seedo, stated that the course aimed to empower young women, enhance their economic and social rights, and raise awareness of their entitlements, including social security, fair working conditions, and equitable wages, to achieve equality and justice in the labor market.
The course included various training sessions covering concepts related to violence, its types, and gender-based violence—how to identify and prevent it. Raising awareness and educating young women on these issues contribute to societal awareness and help reduce cases of violence. A key focus of the course was on the economic rights of women working in the informal sector.
