"Not to Forget" Launches a Campaign on the Impact of UNRWA Service Reductions
Supported by the African Women's Development Fund, "Not to Forget" Association launches a media campaign to highlight the impact of UNRWA service reductions in refugee camps.
As part of the "Voices of Refugee Women" project and with the support of the African Women's Development Fund, "Not to Forget" Association has launched the media campaign "With Your Efforts, We Grow Stronger" to highlight the impact of UNRWA service reductions in Palestinian refugee camps, particularly amid ongoing incursions into several camps in the northern West Bank.
The campaign sheds light on the humanitarian consequences of these cuts on Palestinian refugees in ten camps: Jenin, Tulkarm, Nur Shams, Balata, Old and New Askar, Ein Beit Al-Ma’, Al-Far’a in Tubas, and Aqabat Jaber and Ein Al-Sultan in Jericho.
It also calls on the international community to take responsibility, mobilize local and global support to sustain UNRWA’s services, and expose Israeli policies that exacerbate the crisis.
The campaign produces visual, written, and audio stories, as well as social media content, documenting refugee struggles and revealing the anticipated and tangible effects of UNRWA’s reduction or potential closure across various sectors, including education, healthcare, and essential services. It also captures diverse reactions and features awareness messages from influencers, politicians, and opinion leaders—particularly within the camps and across the West Bank—emphasizing that the refugee issue remains a national concern for all Palestinians.
