"Not To Forget" launches the "The Refugee Women Can" project.

The association "Not To Forget" has launched the "The Refugee Women Can" project with support from the Minority Rights Group, aiming to enhance the roles of women in Palestinian camps, specifically in grassroots committees. The project lasts for 18 months and includes various activities aimed at building and developing the capabilities of refugee women in Palestinian camps.

The association "Not To Forget" and Doctors Without Borders have conducted a training course titled "Mental Health and its Importance in Emergency Situations" at the premises of "Not To Forget" association in Jenin camp, targeting the psychological support and teaching staff of the association. Farah Abu Al-Hijaa, the president of the association mentioned that the association is in the process of expanding the scope of training to include a larger number of women and youth due to the difficult and complex reality, negative outcomes, and their significant impact on mental health, necessitating more volunteers who can work in the field.

Not To Forget Association implemented a variety of activities aimed at empowering children to effectively cope with difficult circumstances and crises. The activities began with interactive sessions aimed at initiating an open dialogue with children about the symptoms and effects of crises on their daily lives. During these sessions, children were encouraged to express their feelings and thoughts in a safe and motivating manner. At the end of the activities, the importance of providing a safe and supportive environment for children was emphasized, discussing the safe space for our children. These activities embodied an effective contribution to enhancing children's resilience and adaptability skills, as well as enhancing their abilities to express themselves and contribute positively to improving their community.
